In the afternoon of November 2, The Energy Bureau of Jiangsu Province held a "whole county rooftop photovoltaic development pilot work symposium". The main content of the meeting is to carry out the whole county rooftop distributed photovoltaic promotion work.Trina Solar, Artes and Huawei attended the meeting as representatives of manufacturing enterprises.

Pilot landing: On June 25, 2021, Jiangsu Provincial Development and Reform Commission issued a document to launch the pilot project of distributed photovoltaic in the whole county. The document points out that the pilot area mainly adopts the development mode of "local government + investment enterprises + manufacturing enterprises". Documents from today's meeting mention:

5 local governments (NDRC) : Wujiang District of Suzhou, Xishan District of Wuxi, Jingkai District of Changzhou, Hailing District of Taizhou, Funing County of Yancheng; 5 investment and development enterprises: Jiangsu New Energy, Sunrise East, Datang Jiangsu Company, Huadian Jiangsu Company, Ganghua Energy;

3 equipment manufacturing enterprises: Huawei, Trina Solar, Artesian;Next, Jiangsu province will soon enter the implementation stage of distributed photovoltaic (PV) in the whole county. Among them, afore-mentioned 5 areas, county should be first batch pilot.Trina Solar and Artus are its component suppliers, and Huawei is its inverter supplier. It is highly likely to be included in the first batch of pilot projects for the whole county in Jiangsu Province. The scale of distributed exploitable development in Jiangsu province is huge.

In September 2021, the official website of the National Energy Administration published a list of the whole county (city, district) rooftop distributed photovoltaic development pilot list, in a total of 676 counties (city, district) in Jiangsu Province, a total of 59, ranking the third in the number of nationwide. By the end of September 2021, the pv installed capacity in Jiangsu exceeded 18.12GW, accounting for about 12% of the province's installed power generation capacity. Among them, the distributed photovoltaic installed capacity accounts for about half of the total installed capacity. The distributed photovoltaic in Jiangsu has developed rapidly, increasing by more than 7.5 times from 1.2GW in 2015 to 9.02GW at present.
